We need your help sustaining a community where students in recovery can achieve academic success.
College offers the hope of a brighter future but also comes with many stressors. Students in recovery are engaged in a lifelong process of abstaining from drugs or alcohol, focusing on personal health and developing networks of support.
By making a donation to the Center for Recovering Students, you are helping to fund a supportive environment within the campus culture that reinforces the decision to engage in a lifestyle of recovery from substance use (ARHE). Any dollar amount helps. No matter the amount, each donation makes a difference in the lives of students in recovery.
Private donations make it possible for the CRS to continue helping students who might otherwise be lost. Please join in this important effort by giving to the CRS today. Your contributions help us in the following areas:
- Hiring a full-time program coordinator
- Producing outreach and promotional materials
- Funding sober social opportunities
- Developing scholarship support for those returning to school
- Funding professional development
- Creating a safe space for students to support one another
Especially now, as the pandemic forces many into isolation, those in recovery are finding it difficult to maintain sobriety. Social support created through active involvement in our CRS is important now more than ever. Thank you in advance for your support.
