The Montanathon Dance Marathon is an annual event held for the Montana State community as a celebration and last push effort for the fundraising of Shodair Children's Hospital. The Dance Marathon will be held on March 27, and on this day we host an event full of dancing, music, empowering speakers and inspiring stories. All of the money we raise helps the kids and staff at Shodair Children’s Hospital in Helena who are battling mental illness and genetic disorder. They provide invaluable healthcare to Montana’s youth.
This event is to celebrate the culmination of our year-long fundraising efforts while showing moral support to a group of kids — this support is crucial in helping them heal. Your Giving Day donation will directly cover the costs of the dance marathon event. This year the event will be in a hybrid format and our student organization is working to connect students with Shodair hospital while ensuring the health and safety of everyone involved. Last year with a budget of $3,800, our organization raised over $32,000 dollars for Shodair Children's Hospital. By donating $1 to our student organization, we are effectively raising $8.42 for the children's hospital. Thank you for your support for our student organization, Shodair Children's Hospital, and Montana State University.
