The College of Nursing is championing health equity.
Health is not distributed justly. Inequities exist due to race, ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation, gender, identity, age and socioeconomic status. In the College of Nursing, we want to prepare students to provide competent, compassionate care for all people.
We want each of our Bobcat Nurses to learn from nationally recognized experts about how to address diversity and inclusion, specifically in health care. The nursing workforce of the future is called to address health inequities. The College of Nursing is committed to high quality, engaging education on diversity and inclusion in health care!
