Support Montanathon to support the kids at Shodair Children's Hospital!
Hello and welcome to Montanathon 2020! We are a student-led fundraiser organization and our main goal is to support the kids at Shodair Children's Hospital in Helena who are battling mental illnesses and genetic disorders. They provide lifesaving healthcare to Montana's youth and support provide hope for the next generation.
We are fundraising through MSU Giving Day to support the organization and execution of our main fundraising event, Montanathon, which will take place on March 7 of this year in the SUB Ballrooms on MSU's campus. On this day, we host an event full of dancing, fun games, empowering speakers and inspiring stories. All of the money we raise after Montanathon goes to help the kids and staff at Shodair. What we raise in these important 29 hours will allow us to widen our impact and make the event a success.
Our dance marathon event Montanathon is not only a great time; it is a time for us to unite Bobcats, community members, and the future generations on MSU's campus to lead a large-scale movement, the first of its kind, that supports children battling mental illnesses and genetic disorders. Our cause is crucial, as Montana consistently has the highest suicide rates in the nation. Our ultimate goal and dreamhope is to open conversations and build a movement to change this unfortunate reality. No one should struggle silently and alone, so we make it loud and clear at Montanathon that we see Shodair's patients, we care about them, and we support them.
How will we accomplish this? We can do it with your gracious support! All the generous donations that we receive from Giving Day will go towards funding the costs of supplies, decorations, t-shirts, and food for our tireless dancers at the Montanathon event . This will further allow us to throw a great celebration of our ability to unite in support of the kids and to display our Bobcat pride as the only Dance Marathon in the state!
Thank you for your continuous support and go Cats!
The MSU Alumni Foundation will not be providing a charitable gift receipt for these transactions.
