Support our future Bobcat scientists and engineers!
Every year, more than 1,400 middle and high school students come to the MSU campus for the Science Olympiad. The competition offers rigorous academic challenges while allowing students to interact with MSU students, faculty and staff and experience college life.
But every year, some teams, particularly those from small schools far from Bozeman, are unable to participate due to lack of travel funding.
Our goal is to provide travel scholarships for schools, particularly those in rural communities, that want to participate in Science Olympiad. Our goal is to increase access to a high-level academic competition that includes kids who may not typically be involved in other traveling competitions such as athletics.
We believe expanding access to Science Olympiad will help expand the opportunities for students across Montana as they compete as a team and represent their community and school.
Who knows....they may become our future Bobcat scientists and engineers!
