France Here we come!
We are Art Students here at MSU and we are all part of the group called Cezanne's Path, the Birth of Modernism. We all come from very different places and differ in focus. Some of us are painters, some sculptors, some graphic designers and some of us are even future Art educators. But one thing, besides our love of art, that we have in common, is a desire to travel and see the great works of Cezanne and other famous artists of history.
What we hope for is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to study abroad this May in France. We will learn about art of the 19th Century as well as creating our own bodies of work that amplify what we learn and see while in France. We will visit the Louvre, D'Orsay, and will travel along the path of Cezanne to see where he made some of his greatest works of art.
It is a trip of a lifetime but is quite expensive. We are looking for some amazing supporters to help make this this life-changing experience a reality. We need roughly $5,000 to help with student airfare and food while we are abroad, and although that doesn't even begin to cover the whole trip, that support would make it drastically more affordable for many of us struggling to save! Can you help us reach our goal?
If we are able to make this happen, the students of Cezanne's Path will be holding an Art Exhibition during Fall Semester 2020, reflecting and showcasing the work that was created and inspired as a result of the trip! We would absolutely love it if you could join us. Help us make the trip, as well as our very own exhibition happen. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for any and all support that you give us!
Happy MSU Giving Day!
